Our Platinum Range are the ultimate in composite door technology. Solid engineered timber core provides a reassuring strength and rigidity that other composite doors fail to provide, not to mention its proven resistance to warping, twisting and bowing. Platinum doors also use advanced Cool Skin heat reflective door skin technology to reduce heat absorption, and offer improved scratch resistance and weather performance. Platinum doors also offer a perfect match if you want to match your outer frame with your door leaf.

Security features

We take the security of your home and those who live in it very seriously. We’ve been doing that for over 30 years.

Every Safedoors doorset is manufactured using robust materials designed with security at its core. They are manufactured with a fully reinforced 70mm PVC-U outer frame and high security locking system, which includes multipoint locking system and anti-bump cylinder.

Our Platinum range of doors come with a responsibly sourced, composite timber core construction offering increased strength and security.

We even offer an enhanced security upgrade to the Secured By Design specification, recommended by the police authority for additional peace of mind. Ask your salesman to explain the options available to you when placing your order.

Energy efficiency

All Safedoors are assessed under a scheme by the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) called the Door Set Energy Ratings Scheme (DSER).

This scheme follows a familiar rating system often found in common household items such as fridges and televisions. The scheme shows how energy efficient each door is on a sliding scale ‘A++’ rated being the highest achievable. This rating is increasingly important as it could reduce your heating bills significantly by less heat escaping through an ill fitting or thermally inefficient doorset.

Safedoors are designed and manufactured to provide the highest Door Set Energy Ratings (DSER), keeping your homes warm, cosy and draught free!

Safedoors composite doors are designed and tested to surpass the most extreme weather conditions imaginable, keeping you, your family and your home safe and secure.

Our Diamond and Platinum ranges also utilise extensively researched materials to ensure your door can handle rough treatment and take it in its stride

All our doors are fully compliant with the latest building regulations and have a lifetime expectancy of 30 years, so do not need replacing frequently. They are also thermally efficient, thus reducing the use of fuels for heating.

Safedoors works within a framework of sustainable development, minimising waste and carbon footprint whilst maximising recyclability. We recycle a wide range of materials including thermoplastic, PVC-U profile and polystyrene off cuts, waste cardboard and paper. We use the unique Recycled Composite Material (RCM) reinforcement in our PVC-U outer frames. Manufactured from recycled PVC-U, this reinforcement provides greater thermal efficiency, increased strength and a minimum life cycle of 35 years.
